High Performance VDSL2 Data Rate over Existing Phone Lines
BiPAC VS2024-P is a 24-Port VDSL2 Managed CO Switch (Central Office) for Telecom, ISP (Internet Service Provider), SI (System Integration), IP Surveillance provider, etc. It is based on two core networking technology, Ethernet and VDSL2 (Very-high-data-rate Digital Subscriber Line 2). Co-works with VDSL2 CPE (Customer Premises Equipment), it offers the absolutely fastest data transmission speeds over existing copper telephone lines without the need of rewiring. The ideal DSL technology provides the best solution in the last mile.

High-demand services connectivity for multi-media services
Compliant with VDSL2 standard, service provider can offer very cost-effective broadband solutions to their customers. They can place a GbE Edge Router in CO side, and then connect it to a BiPAC VS2024-P that was deployed in a building with a fiber or Ethernet cable. In the last mile, they can implement VDSL modem/router in each floor of the building. This network deployment enable them to offer multi-media services such as IPTV, VOD (Video on Demand), VoIP, videophone, Internet caching server, and distance education to their customers via existing telephone copper wires. The EoVDSL (Ethernet over VDSL) allows BiPAC VS2024-P to provide up to 100Mbps download capability. The BiPAC VS2024-P series provides the excellent bandwidth to satisfy the triple play devices for home entertainment and communication.

Quality of Service control for traffic prioritization
The BiPAC VS2024-P contains robust QoS features such as Port-Based, 802.1p priority and also IP TOS/DSCP, it guarantees the best performance at VoIP and Video stream transmission and empowers the enterprises to take full advantages of the limited network resources.

Selectable VDSL2 data rate for service differentiation
Through the Web management interface, administrators can control the data transmit speed of each VDSL2 interface. Telecom and ISP can immediately and remotely upgrade / downgrade bandwidth services according to different demands.

Friendly / Simple Web Management Interface / Multi-services
The BiPAC VS2024-P contains an advanced management capability that can be remotely accessed by Web Browser and SNMP. The standard IEEE 802.1Q with VLAN tagging feature makes logically separating nodes easier with up to 256 VLAN groups allowed. Four priority queues with 802.1p support, IGMP snooping and rate control function are also provided to optimize network bandwidth. Additionally, its standard-compliant implementation ensures interoperability with equipment from other vendors.

Long Distance / High Performance backbone Extend
The two Gigabit TP/SFP combo interface provides fat pipes for connecting to the backbone or connecting to servers. 10/100/1000Base-T, 1000Base-SX and 1000Base-LX modules are available to fit existing networks and to provide flexible media selections. The mini-GBIC slots 1000Base-SX/LX through SFP (Small Form-factor Pluggable) interface. The distance can be extended from 100 meters (TP), 550 meters (Multi-mode fiber), up to above 10/30/50/70/120 kilometers (Single-mode fiber).
