8800nl r2 sync speeds slower vdsl

i am on talktalk fttc and i have brought a 8800nl r2

well problem is im not on the fastest connection start with, with my talktalk router i can get 16mb
on the new belling i can not get ity over 12mb sync speed plugged into the master socket with a filter.
slower is i use a mk4 faceplate vdsl splitter

should i be changing any of these settings for the uk

I would try and source a 8800NL R1 or 8800AXL R2 because the NL R2 has a poor chipset in it.

Can you scroll down on the page in the 1st image to show the errors?
