Static IP Lease List

Post by nightcustard »

Hi BF!

I'm running firmware 2.52.d46a2 on my 8900AX2400. I appear to have hit a 64 entry limit on the Static IP Lease list. May I humbly ask you to request this limit be raised? If it's more appropriate to raise a support ticket, please let me know and I'll do so.
64 entries does seem rather a lot and I am rather surprised to have hit it but there you are! It's all the fault of these cheap Raspberry Pis ;)

Many thanks, Mike

How many more devices do you need to add to the static IP lease list?

Ah - that's a kind of of "how long's a piece of string" type question πŸ˜‰ Assuming a binary series, I imagine 128 is the next progression from 64 but I'll take what I can get!

Many thanks, Mike

You're very welcome! I can probably delete a few of my older devices to create some slots but it's going to be a problem going forward - I hope something can be sorted....

Still waiting for feedback, once I get it I will update you guys here (ps I have released a newer official firmware found under Announcements, it doesn't have the increase limit though)

Attached is a test firmware with the static IP lease list increased to 128 entries.

Let me know if it works fine

Excellent stuff, BF. I'll give it a spin tomorrow 😁
BTW is this firmware an iteration of the recent 2.52.d48 release?
[Edit 15/5/21] I can add more static IP addresses! Thank you :-)
