my question remains.

My router shipped with 2.32a which is apparently faulty! Can I roll back to an earlier firmware or am I stuck until you release a newer one?

thanks.

where did you buy the Router? Was it ebay or a dealer and was it described as new?
I guess you try rolling it back to the official latest UK firmware

Yes you can roll back the firmware, if you need a certain firmware please let me know, or you can use the official release found on our Billion UK support page.

thanks.

in response to pargeter, I bought the router from a reputable on-line dealer sold as new..

can you confirm or not, that the "european" release of 2.32a is faulty?

if so.

do you know what is the most stable firmware I can downgrade to?

should I open an official support ticket for this?

We have different results with this firmware, some say it works fine, some say the wireless is unstable. But this firmware also fixes other issues not related to the wireless function.

I have attached the same firmware that I am currently using on my DXL.

If you do downgrade to this firmware, make sure you reset back to factory default settings and manually reconfigure the device again, as this firmware has a different base code.

If you want you can try the firmware
