Hi Guys,
I have used the access point on a netgearDG834v4 so I know it works I am a bit puzzled how to configure the billion to let the netgear have a wirless connection to give it a longer range.
Any Help Much appreciated
Ps I have enabled WDS on the Billion and put in the mac code of the Netgear WN604 and the Netgear WN604 I input the mac code of the Billion as well

Re: 7800N and Netgear WN604
hi
I would suggest making sure the units are set to different ips eg billion 192.168.1.254 netgear 192.168.0.1
Then make sure they have been set to the same wireless channel, security type , wireless security key and same SSID, and check if you can get the WDS function working. Also turn off the DHCP server on the router you plan to use as a wireless extender, as the IP should be sent from the device working as a modem/router.
I have tested the WDS function with a 7800N and other billion devices but not with a different brand eg netgear.

This article suggests that the SSIDs should be different - but I'll bow to experience as I have no need or experience of this procedure.

The article you posted does not refer to setting up WDS, (wireless distribution system),
