That's a shame.
Hope they sort it out
I got mine sorted in the good old Tiscali days. My line in comes in to a junction box from there to an 1980's master socket.
The engineer made some alterations in the junction box to my cat 5 extensioncable and added a split ADSL/phone socket and doubled my speed from 2 to 4mbs. Over time it rose to 6. Fibre is 25mbs at the moment.

Just about to switch over having put in my settings. Fingers crossed...

8900ax 2400 up and running
Speed thus far is about the same, interleaving is dropping by the hour, now down to 527. No errors or drops.
So far so good
The only 2 gripes I have is that the power lead is too short. It's shorter than the 7800N by at least 6 inches.
The 2.4 wifi signal is not as far reaching as the 7800N.

The 5 signal gets a little further than I expected. Whether it will be strong enough replace my wired 2.4 wifi extender I don't know

We'll see what the next few days bring

8900ax 2400
I'm on Talk Talk Large (Ha Ha) It works fine for over a month after some days after this occasionally doing a speed check it shows 20mb, when working fine I get 36mb down and about 7mb up
I have had a new dropline installed (distance to cabinet 0.5km the openreach engineer told me this), and new internal wiring because of the age of the line and a rotting connection BT box under the eaves of the house, thought this had cured the problem but it’s happened again 3 times, I also thought it was heavy rain fall getting in somewhere between the pole and the cabinet but it’s been pretty dry lately and when the Billion loses sink the speed drops (to 20mb) HEC errors creep up as well, restating the Billion sometime shows the speed has come back up (in the Billion stats) but speed test net still show 20mb down, up is about right, the BT Wholesale Broadband Performance Test never gives me more then 25mb down no matter when I try the Billion.
When the Billion is on top form DSLstats gives me Connection speed (kbps): 39999, 636 but on one occasion I did get (kbps): 44222, 708, this was after a reset of my profile by the Openreach engineer and with the new line etc.

Now the test which I am still running is the 8900ax 2400 connected to WAN port an openreach good old HG612 the BT Wholesale Broadband Performance Test shows 28.49mb down and 5.77mb up but the ping on the HG612 is pretty grim, speed test net shows 34.60mb down and 6.36mb up DSLstats gives me Connection speed (kbps): 36868, 7807, and the SNR as not changed since I started the test SNR margin (dB): 5.8, 6.3.
I am using the latest firmware on the Billion which started off brilliant so too be fair I want to make sure that it is not the Billion, if it is I'm a bit troubled that it maybe intermittent hardware problem, on the modem side.
Indecently the Talk Talk router echoes the openreach HG612 speeds give or take a mb, the only thing I haven’t done is run the DSLstats software on it.
As a Foot note the HG612 I’m using for the test I had on Sky for over a year with my fabulous Billion 7800DXL in that year possibly 3 to 4 line drops.

Just as a final note I'm not a speed freak the most important thing to me is stability if I could get 10mb on ADSL I would jump at it, but ADSL is very slow 3mb at the best (no good for HD CCTV).
