trying to update firmware, but image illegal?

Post by edblun »

Hi All,
Odd problem, trying update to latest firmware, but everyone I try, I have an error message of :

Image uploading failed. The selected file contains an illegal image.

I have tried:
A factory reset
Using only "official" updates

Any advice on this?

Model : bipac 8900ax r2 1600

Download via Vivaldi Browser on an apple Mac.

Never had a problem before,

No unusual firewall / malware filters enabled.

Thanks in advance

Hello!
My router model is BiPAC 8900AX2400
Firmware - 2.52.d23
When I tried to upgrade my firmware with the file Zcomax8900AX2400_2.52.d46.afw, I receive the answer: Image uploading failed. The selected file contains an illegal image.
How can I decide this issue?

Is your device running Callflow firmware, if it is, the devices firmware is locked as requested by Callflow
