Had serious power cut since 5am with multiple on/off switching some very close together.

At first the router reconnected OK but after the seventh or eighth time although the Internet green light was on there was no internet. Stats showed normally. The last time the green internet light came on and after a minute went off never to return and as the power outages showed no sign of ceasing I pulled the plug after this.

It looks as though the rapid disconnects/reconnects have irreparably damaged the router.

Thoughts?

After stable power for 30 minutes I checked U.K. Power’s cuts list page and our area had gone. Powered up the router and it seems to be working.
