7800xx Non NAT Configuration

1) For non-nat set up you need to add a rules in Packet Filter list. First you create a allow rule.


2) Disable the NAT.

3) Enter one of the public IP address to the router (this is usually specified to you by your ISP).

 

Once you change the router's IP address, then you have to renew your computer IP address to continue the rest of the set up. The simple way is to unplug the Ethernet cable from computer and then plug back in again.

 

4) You have the option here to either disable DHCP so that you will have to manually assign your static IPs to the other network devices or set you DHCP server pool to the range of your static IP range. Advandced > Configuration > LAN > DHCP server.

5) The next step is save the settings you have done.

 

 

6) Restart the router for the new settings to take effect.
